Sears’ Manage My Life

The Story: Sears’ wanted to revamp their home improvement site to drive customers to purchase products. Their old site used third-party subscription-based content that was irrelevant for their products and their users and completely outdated and inconsistent with their brand.

The Twist:
We didn’t want to compete with the other Home Improvement sites, we wanted to over users a Rich Internet Application experience with to be created with original content, and here’s the twist, during an extremely collapsed timeframe.

The End: We created the Project Center with the unique Manage My Home voice, and included tips for each project that would help with safety, green, budgeting and more. We also created a community (something other Home Improvement sites didn’t have) and a Q&A center. After the project was over, we taught people how to maintenance their projects. The site has morphed many times since the main project, but the content project remains in tact.
